In 2008, Jamie, together with Britney’s attorney Andrew Wallet, was appointed temporarily as Britney’s conservator after she suffered from mental breakdown and behaved erratically. Three months later, his appointment became permanent. The conservatorship meant Jamie and Andrew would have control of the pop star’s guardianship and assets. Jamie worked as the sole conservator after Andrew resigned in March, 2018.
